Ingmar Bergman was known for having very clear artistic ideas — and for making sure it was his will that counted. What happens when improvisers are set free to do exactly what they want with Bergman’s aesthetics?
There are many stories, myths, and prejudices about Bergman. Teater Prego uses these as tools as they throw themselves into an endless world of people, demons, environments, time periods, light, and shadow. Improvisation opens cracks in the familiar Bergman universe, letting it stretch, twist, and contradict itself live on stage.
One thing is certain.
