STORIES: Scenes from a Building

Picture it: A small walk-up apartment building in New York (but it could be any city). On the ground floor, a small business – maybe a bodega, a book shop, a shoe repair or… ? Upstairs, there’s a revolving series of renters, some there for the short term, others linger for a while. It’s NY after all. Nothing stays the same for too long. In a series of time jumps, we explore how these lives change and intersect, and how they are affected by both history and each other. In the end, it’s ImprompTwo’s unique mix of humor and passion, silences and quick banter that will pull you into their stories…of a building.

has been invited to perform at festivals around the world in the past seven years, including Sweden, England, Paris, Norway, Bulgaria, across the US (including Greenville SC, Los Angeles, Baton Rouge, Miami, Tampa, Nashville and more), and in Canada. Both members of ImprompTwo bring years of experience in producing and performing theatre in New York and Canada, and bring that sensibility to their improv scenes.
