Introduction to Musical Improv Comedy with Heather Urqhart and Joe Samuel of The Maydays

October 19th/20th

Suitable for all levels.

We are thrilled to bring this amazing duo back to Brum to run one of their incredible weekends.  This workshop will take you on a musical improv joyride like no other. Specialising in making people feel comfortable with any level of ability and providing a safe space for you to challenge yourself.

No previous experience of singing required and perfect for people who are anxious or self conscious singing in front of others. For those who have experience in improvised singing, this is a great refresher and a chance to take your skills further. They will unlock your voice, free your mind and open your heart to the wonders of musical improv.

Ask anyone who has been on one of Heather and Joe’s weekends before, and they will tell you that not only was it incredible fun, but that it changed their approach to musical improv for ever.

Heather Urquhart and Joe Samuel  have been teaching and performing musical improvised comedy for 10 years. They love to help people sing and be spontaneous.  They have taught, trained and facilitated all over Europe working with clients, businesses and improv troupes.

N.B. – Heather will also be performing Ten Thousand Million Love Stories on Saturday night together with Jules Munns.
