Laura Berkemeyer – WHAT AN IMPROVISOR NEEDS!
Friday October 11th @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
£80An Emotional Approach to Improvisation
This character workshop delves into the core of basic human needs like relatedness, need for impact, or the profound desire to feel seen. Through the lens of improv, we guide participants on a journey to connect, communicate authentically and create characters that are based on human needs. In this workshop, we prioritize the art of truly seeing and being seen. Participants will delve into exercises that emphasize active listening, empathy, and the recognition of each individual’s unique contributions. By tapping into these basic human needs, improvisers not only enhance their performance skills but also develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their fellow players and characters they can create.
